Only 191 Days until CHRISTMAS!

I KNOW........I KNOW........it's Father's Day! BUT, have you started thinking about it yet? I have had Christmas on the brain for the last few days. Today, I was on some Christmas websites and clicked on a few links, and then a few more, then all of a sudden I was looking for Christmas card ideas, and then designer Christmas trees, and look at what I found! Isn't this the coolest Christmas tree? LOL! I don't drink beer, but I told my husband that this would be perfect for his entertainment room down in the basement! They have stacked the bottles on top of glass plates. I am not sure how they did all of the lights but I don't think it would be too hard to figure out!

And then I saw this one! This just totally CRACKS ME UP! We could do a diet 7-up one here at our house. We would probably have enough cans saved up in a month! YES! We drink way too much soda!

So, do I have all of you in the Christmas spirit yet?

Hairy Topic

OK! How come you always notice that the hair on your legs has grown into a forest when you are sitting in the passenger seat at the drive thru of a fast food restaurant? The person handing you the food looks at you funny as you ask your husband "when did that forest grow there"? "It must have sprung up over night"!

So this morning, I was in the bathroom with my pink chainsaw yelling timber as I tried to find some skin underneath all those trees. I was moving along just fine until I came across a patch of eczema, which grows rampant in my neck of the woods! I'm telling you! You probably could have heard me all the way at your house! And it wasn't TIMBER I was yelling!

While cursing like a lumberjack I happened to glance in the mirror and saw a couple of caterpillars crawling around on my forehead! O MY GOODNESS! I had to catch those quick because I've been told stories about how they like to start mating right between your eyes! I pulled there legs out one at a time just to show them who the boss was! All the time telling them "This is hurting me more than it is you".

My morning got even better when I noticed that there was also a skunk on my head! What in the world is going on here? How long was I out in that darn forest anyway? Coming home with all these critters to get rid of isn't how I pictured spending my day! I will have to go and see Ms. L'Oreal. I heard she really knows how to get rid of a skunk! I've been told that she has this cream called "Skunk Be Gone" that works like a charm. But I will look pretty funny walking around with it on my head for about 40 minutes!

I am hoping that my day gets better, but I am thinking that the pretty waterfall I discovered flowing out of my flowerbed, and flooding the yard is a sure sign of all things wonderful coming my way today!

So, my words of wisdom for the day are "DON'T GO INTO THE FOREST!" It's NOT YOUR FRIEND! And don't forget to turn off the hose before it builds up so much pressure that it bursts open and creates an amazing new water feature that will make your neighbors jealous!

Not Much Going On

Saturday was a busy day at work because we had a bus tour going on. There were four different stores involved. Each store had a bus full of people starting at their store and then rotating between all four stores through out the day.

I have a new website that I have been spending WAY TOO MUCH time at. It's called Scrap In Style TV. So many talented people and so much inspiration. My mind is spinning with all kinds of ideas. Once I get a few projects done I am thinking about joining in on some of the challenges they have posted. Maybe, that will help me get back into scrapbooking more.

I even won a RAK (Random Act of Kindness)from one of the girls on the site. I was reading her blog (which I find HILARIOUS) and she said that she would pick names from everyone that left a comment on her blog and send them some fun scrapbooking goodies in the mail. Well, imagine the shock when I went to her blog today and found out that my name had been picked! I am so excited! It's always GREAT to get FUN mail!

The Weekend!

Well, I started off Friday with good intentions. LOL I fell off the wagon after I got home from work. We decided to go to Hidden Lake Winery because they had "Cajun Fest" going on from 4 pm until 12 am. I thought Mr. Mister would really enjoy it because he loves craw fish and all of the different Cajun style food. By the time we got there (at 7 pm) they had already sold out of the food. What a BUMMER! We did purchase a bottle of their top selling semi-sweet red wine called "Double Decker".
We sat out on the patio and drank it while we listened to the music. After that, we headed to Texas Roadhouse for a late dinner. (When I fall off the weight loss wagon I really go for the gusto! I may as well make it worth all of those bumps and bruises from hitting the ground so hard right? LOL)

On Sunday, I finally made it to the movies to see my Orlando Bloom. I forgot my bib! It's a good thing I picked up lots of extra napkins when we ordered that HUGE tub of popcorn. (Did I mention a diet? Ummmmmmm NOT!) Drooling all over it wasn't an option. Mr. Mister would not have been too happy with soggy popcorn!

We also began making plans to go to Arizona and visit my brother. I am SO EXCITED! I haven't seen him in 11 years. It will be great fun catching up with him. I am also looking forward to relaxing and seeing some amazing sunsets!

Back On Track!

Today is the day! I am going to try and get back on track with my weight loss program. Mr. Mister's company is challenging employees and their "teams" to the 10,000 steps-a-day program. They are even providing all of us with pedometers! They should be arriving today via Fedex. The program is run through Cornerstone Fitness. We go to the website every day and input our steps that we have walked and they keep track of all of it. At the end of a three month period Rick's company will award the top three teams with a fitness prize.

I figured it's the perfect time to start Weight Watchers again too. It's hard to believe that I started back on June 21st of last year. If I would have completely stayed on track I would be looking REALLY good right now! LOL But, I have only gained a little of the weight back, so I am not doing too shabby!

Back to walking with Leslie Sansone! I LOVE her dvds. I also like the fact that I can walk whenever I want and I don't have to worry about the weather outside. Because we all know it's already TOO DARN HOT to walk outside! (Unless you walk at 10 pm)

Well, I am off to put one foot in front of the other! I just wish the pedometers had gotten here before today so that we could keep track on the first day of the program! See what happens when you wait too long to sign up for something?
