Bummed!

I am bumming big time because Army Wives is over for the season! Sunday nights just won't be the same! Yes, some of it is a little far fetched, but it's television, it's supposed to be! It has good drama, and story lines that kept tears rolling down my cheeks every week! It's a GREAT show!

At least I can still watch Lisa Williams! Her show is also on Lifetime. It's called "Lisa Williams - Life Among The Dead" LOVE this show too!

A Taste Of Shabby Chic!

This is what I spent the evening working on! And I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. I have been wanting to work on some projects for my craft room, and this is the first "shabby chic" inspired thing I have done. My room will eventually be a mixture of garden, fairies, & shabby chic. It's the only room in the house that I can go totally "GIRLY GIRL" so don't be surprised if you see a chandelier hanging from the ceiling one of these days. LOL

I used Daisy D's Paper(the lullaby collection)which I thought worked perfect for this. Daisy D's is one of my favorite scrapbook companies. I LOVE their products and plan to use more of this line on several other things I will be working on.
The lamp is a Hollywood Lights product, and is self adhesive. I bought it at the store where I work. The dragonfly and butterfly are Christmas ornaments that I bought at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago. I couldn't leave the store without them! I knew I would find a place for them in my room! Aren't they beautiful? LOVE them!

She's Killing ME!

I am trying "really hard" to stay on my diet but, I am over at Pioneer Woman's blog seeing THESE!

She always has the best recipes, and the photographs she takes are phenomenal! She goes through step-by-step instructions with photos for EACH step! Go ahead and take a look! You know you want to! (Yep! I'm an enabler! LOL!) Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

This one will definitely be added to the list of foods to make for Christmas. Could you imagine waking up on Christmas morning to these! OOOOOOOOO I am drooling over here, and I think I've gained five pounds just by reading the recipe!

I guess I will actually have to get UP and do the new workout by Leslie Sansone that arrived here yesterday.
I won't mention the part about it totally kicking my (non exercising in months) butt!

WHEW DOGGIE! Can someone pass the cinnamon rolls please! HA!

Liliana!

How about that! I actually took my patootie upstairs to my craft room and "finished" something! YEE HAW!

I did this magnetic board for a baby gift. The parents decorated the room in Pooh. I had A LOT of help from the girls I work with, because I was having a hard time "feeling" it. But in the end I think it turned out OK.

I couldn't get a good picture of the whole board, so I took pictures of the different sections. At the bottom right corner of the board I attached a frame so that they can put a picture of Liliana there. The pictures are a bit blurry, but I hope that you can still see some of the details.

It's Started!

I am so excited! The Christmas Notebook has started this year's session! It's time to start preparing for the holidays and this totally helps me do it.
I'm still working on my notebook but it's coming along.
There is also, Holiday Grand Plan which is an 18-week program that helps you clean, organize, & decorate your entire home for the holiday season that begins on Sunday, August 26th, and Organized Christmas which has a 6 week program that begins on October 21st.
They are pretty much the same kind of programs as The Christmas Notebook but, I like reading the awesome ideas that come from all of them. I figure that even if I don't follow them exactly, I am still further ahead than I would be if I didn't follow them at all.
Because of these programs, I have actually started Christmas shopping for this year already! THAT IS A FIRST! Never before, have I purchased a Christmas present in JULY!
So, what are you doing to get ready for the holidays?
