Early this morning Mother Nature decided it was time for us to get "our party on!" LOL Yep! The house was SHAKING, the windows were RATTLING, and the thunder was ROLLING, and ROLLING, and ROLLING! Good old thunder was "GETTIN' DOWN!" He and Miss Lightening were doing the Tango, Mambo, and the Rumba! LOL
Since Mr. Mister and I couldn't find our dancing shoes. We decided to roll over and go back to sleep!

Happy Easter!

WOW! Two posts in two days! I'm on a roll! LOL
I hope that all of you are having a wonderful Easter.
It has been a quiet day for us. We enjoyed a very yummy meal of ham, twice baked potatoes, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, and strawberry shortcake. SO DELICIOUS!!
Now, I am going to relax! Maybe watch a couple movies. I do have the third season of Soul Food to finish watching. I LOVE that show!
Have a FANTABULOUS day! TTFN!

7 Random Things
OK! So, I was tagged AGAIN, and figured I wasn't going to get out of it this time. I keep telling everyone that it really hurts my brain to have to think so hard, but nobody is buying it.
So here are 7 random things about me.
1. I have a scar on the bridge of my nose, right between my eyes. It's from flying across the seat and hitting the dashboard when I was little. Yep, it was back in the day, when you didn't have to wear seat belts. I was standing up in the back seat of the car, and we had to stop suddenly! I went zooming into the front seat and CRACKED my head open! I was bleeding EVERYWHERE! I had to go to the hospital for stitches. My Mom said that I screamed so bad when we went BACK to get the stitches taken out, that the doctor couldn't finish the job and the nurse had to do it.
2. I LOVE having my back pinched! It totally relaxes me! Mr. Mister says that he just pinches freckles! LOL He also says that they are going to think he is abusing me because I end up with red welts all over my back! Hey! Maybe, I should take up acupuncture? They can stick needles in my back, and I will relax, PLUS lose weight! HA!
3. I LOVE Cher! I have a list of things I want to do/accomplish in my lifetime. Seeing Cher in concert is on that list. But, I figured it would never happen, because she had retired. I was SO HAPPY when I heard she signed a three year contract in Las Vegas! Now, I will hopefully be able to fulfill that dream!
4. We used to live in apartment #69 when I was a kid! I never understood why all of the adults thought it was so funny when they first heard that! Hmmmmmmmmmmm!
5. I prefer to eat Chef Boyardee Ravioli and Beefaroni straight from the can. COLD!
6. I have to sleep with my feet uncovered. (Unless, I am really cold) If the blankets are tucked in around my feet I feel trapped. I will get up and totally untuck all of the blankets so that my feet can "breathe."
7. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 21. If I had my way, I would never drive. I don't like driving. I have a horrible sense of direction, and I am afraid of getting lost. Mr. Mister drives everywhere we go. I also get car sick. I cannot read, or move around a lot in the car. That is one of the reasons why I don't like being in the car for long periods of time.
HEY! WAKE UP!
That's what you get for tagging ME! LOL
I'm not going to tag anyone else, but if you want to play along, go right ahead. Let me know so that I can come to your blog and read about YOUR randomness!

Crazy Ideas!
My sister's wedding album is another project that has been waiting "patiently" for my attention.
Well, I decided to pull it out a couple of days ago, and fiddle around with it. She was married in Reno, and I decided to print all of the pictures in black & white because everyone was wearing different kinds of clothes. I am also doing all of the pages from the ceremony the same, and all of the pictures from the "reception" the same, to keep it simple, but elegant.
While looking through the album, I realized it needed something else. I pulled out my Sizzix "Swirly Decorative Strip Die" and knew that I wanted to include it on the ceremony pages. (I absolutely LOVE this die! You can also see it being used on the letters spelling Kaylie that I previously posted.)

So, I figured out how many "swirls" I would need, and started rolling black strips of paper through the machine. After a while, I started questioning WHOSE CRAZY IDEA was this? I had to cut 34 of these things out! AND glue them all down! But it gets even better! Everyone knows that I CANNOT make all those swirly flourishes without adding flowers to them. Each swirl would take three flowers. That added up to 90 flowers. And of course, I had to put gunmetal colored Stickles in the center of each flower. I haven't pulled out the dew droplets yet, but I probably will end up adding some of those as well. (Keep in mind, that this is only for the ceremony portion of the book. LOL) What happened to "simple?"
I still haven't finished all of the pages, but here's a peek at a couple of them.

Yeah, I know the pages still "look" simple.
But, believe me, I ended up creating a lot more work for myself. LOL
Now, the "reception" portion of the album also needs "something" else. I think I will be adding a decorative border at the top and bottom of the pages. I am still trying to figure it all out. But, at least I am making some progress on it.

Robins Are HERE!
I am SO EXCITED because I saw several robins yesterday, while I was out running around! That means SPRING is HERE! YAY!
It got up to about 70 degrees yesterday! I had all the windows open, and I could hear the birds singing outside! It was WONDERFUL!
Even the kitties were loving it! They like sitting in the windows, or laying in the kitchen, by the sliding glass door. I always ask them if they are trying to get suntans! LOL
Looks like today will be another great day! Even though it's cloudy, and they are calling for rain later, it's still warm enough to open everything up again!
I cannot tell you how good it feels to be in a completely silent house, with a breeze gently blowing through! It's a little piece of HEAVEN!

Isn't She Sweet?
Michelle, the amazingly talented Mosaic Queen, gave me this award today!
She is such a sweetie! I am so happy to know that I make someone's day a little happier!
Thanks a bunch girlie!

Question?
Why is it that Mr. Mister always has flights leaving way too early in the morning, on the days that I HAVE to work? Why can't he have to be up by 4:00 on my days off? Then I could roll over and go right back to sleep once he leaves. (Well, once I drop Bud of at work) But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now I am awake, and it's really not worth trying to go back to sleep, because the alarm will go off just as Orlando starts telling me how beautiful I am!
HA HA HA HA SNORT!
Yeah, I know! I'm thoroughly amusing, when I am sleep deprived! I will be totally slap happy by the time I get to work.

"VERY" Belated Baby Gift!
OK! I forced myself into my craft room these last few days, to try and finish up this project. This is a "baby" gift for a friend. (Should I mention that the baby just turned ONE? Nope! Maybe not! LOL) Anyway, the nursery is done in yellow, green, and blue. (Because they didn't know what they were having.) I ended up buying a roll of the border they used in the room, to help decorate the letters. I couldn't help myself though! I had to girlie it up! I really hope she likes it.
I apologize in advance for these pictures. I took them in my craft room, and my walls are painted blue, so the room can be pretty dark at times, which is not that great for taking pictures. But, there is snow covering the deck outside, so that wasn't an option. Obviously, I didn't do so well at making sure everything was straight, or zoomed in at the same point. LOL But, at least you will get the idea of how they turned out.

A Little Sunshine!
YAY! We actually got up to 74 degrees today! And the sun is out! Mr. Mister is very excited about our little warm up, so he decided that we "HAD" to BBQ! We are having chicken and brats.
I am hoping we will even make to the park for a walk. Well, at least around the block a few times. LOL!
