Goodmorning!

I have so much to do today! Mr. Mister's mother is coming into town tonight. So, I need to do all of the fun stuff, like run to the grocery store, (after I figure out what we are having for dinner) straighten up the house, and... and.... and.... (well you get the picture! LOL) I also have to shuffle everything around in my "studio" because that is where she will be sleeping, since our guest room is still being occupied.

Why is it? That every time you have something else to do, that is when the creative urge srikes? Now that I have to move a mammoth pile of boxes in my studio, which will leave me with no place to work on anything, my mind is saying YO! Kathy! Go upstairs and play with all that new stuff you just got!

It always happens that way! And it will probably be a while before I get to play because, then I will have to move everything out of the way again after she leaves. LOL! I need to find homes for the stuff in all of those boxes, but I don't have enough room for all of it.

They are calling for a 60% chance of thunderstorms again today! But the rest of Memorial Day Weekend is looking pretty good! Mr. Mister is already talking about what we will be BBQing. LOL! He is so thrilled that I will actually be home for the holiday. And we are already making plans to drive to Tennessee for the 4th of July. It's so nice to have holidays off now!

I am one happy girl, now that I am able to stay at home! YEP! Happy & LUCKY! Thanks Mr. Mister! SMOOCHES!

I know what you mean about needing more space! Every time I get to scrappin' something, my guest room starts looking like a disaster area (since that's where all my scrapbooking stuff is located). And whenever we have spend-the-night company, I have to supress my scrapbooking urges until after they're gone and the room is converted back to "mine". Maybe I just need more organization....although I think I'd be more organized if every single one of our upstairs closets weren't stuffed full with boxes upon boxes of my oldest sons comic books. Comic books that we're storing for him until he returns from overseas - in 2 more years. Ugh! I could really grow to HATE comic books. lol

Hope your holiday is filled with good times!!

Isn't it wonderful to be able to stay home? I have to stop and say a little "thank you" prayer for that every once in a while.

Hope your mil's visit went well, and that you got everything done!

Have a great day!

Yep, I keep saying I need more space too and I have my own studio. I keep telling my hubby that I need to buy a warehouse. Now, if only I could win the lottery to afford one!!! :-)
It sounds like you are really enjoying your retirement....I am GLAD for you!!!!!!!!!
Hugs!

p.s. If you want to see a monsoon storm in Arizona, you have to come in July or August, but mostly July. Of course, that is when it is blistering HOT out! LOL!!!
